Overview Instructions

Overview

This article is intended for users who want to transfer roasts between Cropster accounts. We recommend prioritizing the export of reference or high-priority roasts, as exporting a large number of roasts will be time-consuming.

You can log into two separate Cropster accounts simultaneously on Chrome by using an Incognito window for one account and the regular browser window for the other.

Instructions

Exporting roasts

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Roasts on the main menu bar.
  3. Click the PR number to open the roast you intend to export.
  4. Click Export.
  5. Select the Roast curve option. The Roast curve will be saved onto your computer.

Importing roasts

Before importing, verify that the roast data contains a Bean temperature curve.

  1. Log in to the Cropster account you would like to import into.
  2. Navigate to the Roasts on the main menu bar.
  3. Click + Add roast on the right side of the page.
  4. Scroll down to the Roasting Curve section.
  5. Select Upload curve.

  6. Choose the .crc file you downloaded. If the import of the file was successful, you will see a message confirming the upload.
  7. Enter the following information:
    • Roast name
    • Machine
    • Green lot
    • Start weight: Upon saving the roast, the Green lot's weight will be adjusted according to the value entered in the "Start weight" field. If you do not wish to impact the selected lot's weight, set the Start and End weights to "0".
    • End weight
  8. Click Create roast.
