Why use the Harvest Report?

The Harvest Report offers clarity and in-depth insights into the coffee you intend to purchase, including essential information such as its origin, volume, processing dates, and other pertinent details about the coffee produced during the season.

The Harvest Report overview page

By following the steps below, you can open the Harvest Report overview page:

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Origin on the main menu bar and select Batches.
  3. Click on See harvest report on the top right side of the page.

Using the filters

By using the following quick-filter options, you can easily refine your Harvest Report.

Use the toggle button and add Advanced filters:

  • Mill (default)
  • Crop year (default)
  • Process
  • Project
  • Variety
  • Supplier type
  • Community
  • Farm

The 'Supplier Type' filter controls which of the other filters are visible.
If you select...

  • Community - only the Community filter is visible
  • Farm - the Community and Farm filters are visible
  • Field - the Community, Farm, and Field filters are visible
  • Picker - the Community, Farm, Field, and Picker filters are visible

Always select the 'Supplier Type' that corresponds to how you receive coffee when registering batches. This selection enables you to apply filters for enhanced traceability.

For instance, if your coffee is sourced from Farms, choosing 'Farm' as the 'Supplier Type' enables you to filter not only the specific Farms but also the associated Communities to which those Farms belong.

Summary

The summary values show you the total weight by type for each crop year.

Weight types include:

  • Received weight
  • Estimated stored weight
  • Stored weight
  • Estimated green weight

Line Charts

Use the Show breakdown for the dropdown menu to select which type of weight you wish to see from the following options:

  • Received weight
  • Estimated stored weight
  • Stored weight
  • Estimated green weight

Each point represents the summarized weight for that week based on the date the coffee was received. A tooltip displaying the summarized weights by crop year appears when you hover the mouse over a particular week

 Bar charts

Two bar charts summarize the following information at the bottom of the page:

  1. Received / Estimated Stored weight/ Stored weight / Estimated green weight by process
  2. Received / Estimated Stored weight/ Stored weight / Estimated green weight by project

Congratulations! You are now ready to use the Harvest Report.
