-

- Log in to Roasting Intelligence.
- Navigate to
Preferences > Roasting tab > Chart and comments > Events and comments section. -
Customize your tracking in the Comments section. You can also set Gas changes to pre-fill based on your reference, so you only have to press Enter to log them.

-
Click on Save to submit.
Marking events during roasting
Click anywhere on the chart to open the comment box while roasting:
- The Time/Temperature stops at the moment you open the comment box and can be manually revised if needed.
- To mark the Color change and First crack, hit the respective button.
-
To enter a personal note, use the text field at the bottom and click Text comment.

You can adjust the vertical layout of the Reference box and Readouts to control how many comments are visible at once:

Tips and Recommendations:
- The timestamps show the time when the window is opened and do not take the position of the mouse into account. If you would like to set the comment at an earlier time, you can then update the time in the comment modal.
- When pre-filling is enabled, upcoming changes appear automatically. Enter numbers only to ensure your graphs display correctly in C-sar.
