The steps of getting started with Cropster Cafe

1. Setting your location
2. Choose a connection type
3. Set up the espresso machine
4. Connect the espresso machine

Step 1: Setting your location

By following the steps below you can set your location:

1. Log into the online platform C-sar.
2. By clicking on the dropdown next to Location you can either:
   • Select an already existing location from all the locations that have the "Cafe" attribute.
   • Create a new location. 
3. After selecting either an existing location or creating a new one, click on the green Review location and continue button. 
   
4. Review your chosen or new location to ensure all required information is correct.
   
5. Enter the following information:
   * is indicating mandatory fields 
   • Cafe location name*
   • Location type*
   • Country*
   • Timezone*
   • City
   • Street
   • Zip Code
6. You can either Go back to location selection or click on the green Continue button to continue. 

Step 2: Choose a connection type

Connecting your machine gives you access to better and more functionalities. Automatically collect data to overview your cafe's operations, get better at equipment maintenance, and obtain greater insights on quality and consistency.

There are three options to choose from:

1. BrewBeacon connection: Continue with this type of connection if you have a BrewBeacon installed on your machine and are in proximity to it. 
   
2. La Marzocco Pro App connection: Continue with this type of connection if you got a compatible La Marzocco machine with the LM Pro App ready.
   
3. You can select the Unsure option, if you are not sure yet how your espresso machine should be connected to Cropster Cafe.
   💡 If you continue with this option, you can still add an espresso machine after clicking on the green Continue with setup espresso machine button. This will direct you to Step3.  
   

Step 3: Set up the espresso machine 

Brewbeacon Connection 

Based on the Location entered in Step 1, all espresso machines linked to that location that are BrewBeacon connectable will be listed.

You can either select an existing espresso machine or set up a new machine.

After selecting either an existing machine or setting up a new one, you are asked to review said machine to ensure all information is correct.

Set up a new machine

By following the steps below you can set up a new espresso machine: 

1. Enter the following details:
   * is indicating mandatory fields
   
   • Brand*
   • Model*
   • No. of groupheads*
   • Serial number*
   • Alternative name
   • Location*
     
   • Stations
     💡 Stations enable you to group equipments.
   • Comment
2. Click on Continue.

Step 4: Connect Espresso Machine 

BrewBeacon Connection

The BrewBeacon needs to be installed on your espresso machine by following the installation guide.
You will also be informed about how to connect the espresso machine with the BrewBeacon and given a pairing code on this page. 

La Marzocco Pro App Connection

1. First, log into the LM Pro app, click on the right machine, ensure the configuration is fully loaded and scroll down to click on the Cropster Manage button.
2. Click on Connect to Cropster Cafe, or copy the provided Connection token.
3. Paste the token below and click Continue.
