Using the Assets overview page

This article introduces the new Assets overview page and its features for Cafe.




What's new?


We launched a new Assets overview page for streamlined management of your equipment, stations, and espresso machines.

Exploring the new Assets overview page


By following the steps below, you can navigate to the new Assets overview page

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Cafe on the main menu bar and select Assets.
  3. The Assets overview page consists of the following  tabs:

Equipment

You will first be directed to the Equipment tab. The table will display the following information:

  • Location
  • Type
  • Model: Clicking the Model name directs you to the Equipment details page.
  • Brand
  • Serial number
  • Device ID
  • Alternative name
  • Comment


Adding new equipment

Click the green +Add equipment button to select equipment options for addition:

  • Espresso machine
  • Other (e.g., Grinder, Water boiler)

Using filters

To refine the search on the Equipment tab, simply click on the FilterIcon-png-1Filters button to display the filter selection:

Apply filters to refine your search by criteria:

  • Model
  • Location
  • Station
  • Type
  • Brand
  • Serial number
  • Alternative name


Editing equipment

By following the steps below, you can easily edit your equipment:

  1. Locate the equipment to modify and click the EditIcon (1)-png-2Edit button on the right.

  2. You can modify the following details:
    * indicates mandatory fields
    • *Equipment type
    • *Equipment brand
    • *Equipment model
    • *Number of groupheads
    • Serial number
    • Alternative name
    • *Location
    • Stations
    • Comments

  3. Click Update equipment to save changes.


Deleting equipment

By following the steps below, you can easily delete your equipment:

  1. Locate the equipment to delete and click the DeleteIcon@2x (1) Delete button on the right.

  2. A warning will display: "Are you sure you want to delete this equipment permanently?" Click Delete to proceed.
  3. The equipment will be deleted shortly.

This action is irreversible, so ensure you want to delete the equipment.


Stations

Select the Stations tab. The table will display the following information:

  • Location
  • Name: Clicking the Station's name directs you to the Station details page.
  • Equipment


Adding Stations

Click the green +Add station button.

Using filters

To refine the search on the Stations tab, simply click on the FilterIcon-png-1Filters button to display the filter selection:

  • Name
  • Locations

Editing Stations

By following the steps below, you can easily edit your Stations:

  1. Locate the station to modify and click the EditIcon (1)-png-2Edit button on the right.

  2. You can modify the following details:
    * indicates mandatory fields
    • *Name
    • Equipment

  1. Click Update station to save changes.

You cannot change the location of a station. 


Deleting Stations

By following the steps below, you can easily delete your station:

  1. Locate the station to delete and click the DeleteIcon@2x (1) Delete button on the right.

  2. A warning will display: "Are you sure you want to delete this equipment permanently?" Click Delete to proceed.
  3. The station will be deleted shortly.

This action is irreversible, meaning that once you confirm the deletion, the station will be permanently removed from the system and cannot be recovered. 

Espresso Machine Status


The Espresso Machine Status tab shows the installation statuses for each Grouphead.

Select the Espresso Machine Status tab. The table will display the following information:

  • Location: Click the dropdown next to Location to view the groupheads added to your espresso machine. Expand the component table to view system messages in the Notes section about your espresso machine's installation status.

  • Model: Clicking the Model name directs you to the Espresso machine details page.
  • Connection
    • No signal: The espresso machine is not connected. 
    • On: The espresso machine is connected and transmitting data.
  • Task
    : A number will indicate the total tasks for the espresso machine, and clicking Show all will display their details.

  • Most due (task): Most urgent task(s),
  • Installation: This displays your installation status; hover over the icons for detailed detection explanations.

  • Timezone


Installation statuses

    The installation statuses include:
    1. Good: The espresso machine is connected and sending healthy data.

    2. Error: The error messages vary based on the detected issue.

    3. Warning: The warning messages vary based on the detected issue, e.g., "The solenoid is connected, but this machine type doesn't support it. You can remove the solenoid connector.

    4. Unknown: Expand the dropdown next to the Location field to view system messages in the Notes field.

    Using filters

    To refine the search on the Espresso Machine Status tab, simply click on the FilterIcon-png-1Filters button to display the filter selection:

    • Location

    FAQs

    How can I close the Filter window? 

    Click the FilterIcon@2xFilters icon once again. This will hide the Filter options, enabling you to navigate back to the main view.
