FAQs
When does the Between-Batch Protocol (BBP) data get recorded?
The Between-Batch Timer starts automatically once a roast stops, allowing you to monitor the initial cool-down phase on the post-roast screen.
If your selected Reference roast includes a BBP recording, it will appear in the background as a reference.
💡 Tips and Recommendations:
Use the Zoom tool on the post-roast BBP graph to focus on specific data points or extend your view.
How can you reset the Between Batch Timer?
You need to click the Restart button. This will reset the Between Batch Timer to 00:00. Any data collected during the Between Batch Protocol (BBP) will be erased once the Restart button is clicked and confirmed.
The Between-Batch Timer behavior depends on when a roast is cancelled:
- If you abort the roast before the Stop button changes to Force start, Roasting Intelligence continues tracking the BBP from your previous completed batch.
- If the roast is aborted after it has officially started (automatically or via “Force start”), the Between-Batch Timer resets to 00:00 and begins a new recording from the moment you aborted the roast.
