Overview

This article guides you through downloading and installing Roasting Intelligence on your computer.

⚠️ The article uses the Production Roasting Intelligence download link as an example. Always refer to your specific machine's setup manual to confirm which version of Roasting Intelligence (Production, Beta, or Custom) is required for your roast machine.

Downloading Roasting Intelligence

Please review the minimum system requirements.

Navigate to download.cropster.com.
Select the version that corresponds to your operating system.

Installing Roasting Intelligence

Windows installation

If a 'Windows protected your PC' prompt appears, select 'More info'> ‘Run anyway’. The installer is secure and safe to run on Windows 10 and later.

Navigate to This PC > Downloads and open the .exe file.
The Cropster Roasting Intelligence Installer will open up, and the installation process will start automatically.
Alternatively, you can open it directly from your browser's Downloads.
After launching the Setup Wizard, click Next.
Choose the location where you want to install Roasting Intelligence and click Next.
Check the Main Application checkbox.
(Recommended) Check the Create a desktop icon checkbox to create a shortcut for Roasting Intelligence, and click Next.
Check Run Cropster Roasting Intelligence and click Finish to open the app immediately.
The Roasting Intelligence will open up.
Enter your username and password.
Use the same login information that you use to access the online platform C-sar.
Proceed with your roast machine setup.

MacOS installation

Navigate to Finder > Downloads and open the dmg. file.
Alternatively, you can open it directly from your browser's Downloads.
Double-click on the Cropster Roasting Intelligence Installer icon to start the installation.
You will be asked whether you are sure you want to open the file. To continue, click the Open button.
Roasting Intelligence will open.
Enter your username and password.
Use the same login information that you use to access the online platform C-sar.
Proceed with your roast machine setup.

Creating a Roasting Intelligence desktop shortcut on a Mac

Select the Finder icon on the left side of the Dock.
Locate the application you'd like to create a shortcut for by typing in the search field.
Right-click on the application and select Make Alias.
Click Enter and drag the alias to your Desktop.
