Overview

This article explains how to add a new roast machine to your Cropster account. After adding a roast machine, you will be able to connect it to Roasting Intelligence and track your roasts.

Note: You need to have the group administrator permission to add machines.

Instructions

1. Log in to the online platform.
2. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner of the interface > Machines.
3. Click + Add new machine in the top right corner of the page.
   
   
    
4. Click the dropdown and select or start typing the Machine manufacturer name.
   
   
    
5. Select the machine type.
6. Select the appropriate machine model.
7. (optional) Enter the custom machine name.
8. Define the machine capacity and the preferred weight unit.
9. Set the machine location.
10. For the machine usage type, select either Production or Sample roaster.
11. Click Create machine.
    
    
     

My machine manufacturer is not listed

If your machine manufacturer is not listed, check if you correctly wrote the manufacturer name in the search field. If it still does not appear, select Other. This will allow you to enter the machine manufacturer details manually. Our team will then get in touch with you to help you connect your machine to Cropster.

Complete the setup

After adding the roast machine in Cropster, you will land on a machine overview page. This page contains a link to the appropriate setup manual for your machine. Follow this setup manual to configure your machine connection in Roasting Intelligence.
