Overview 

This article explains how to edit Batches and overrule the Yield factor.

Instructions

Navigating to the Batches overview page

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Origin on the main menu bar and select Batches. 


Customizing the Batches overview page

  1. Click the dropdown arrow next to the Customize button.
  2. Select Display sets from the menu:
    • Show all
    • Hide all
    • Restore defaults
  3. Check the boxes for the additional data points you wish to track. 


Editing Batches 

You can edit your Batches in two different ways:

  1. Via the Batches overview page
  2. Via the Batch details page


Editing Batches via the Batches overview page

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Origin on the main menu bar and select Batches. 
  3. Search for the ID tag of the Batch you wish to edit.
  4. Navigate to the right side of the page and click on theEdit icon. You will be directed to the Batch details page.
  5. Use the Customize button on the top right to select additional batch information to track:
    • Processing information
      • Factor 1
      • Factor 2
      • Notes
      • Part
      • Pile
      • Project
    • Reception information
      • Reception date
      • Varieties
      • Member
      • Gross weight
      • Price per Unit
      • Subtotal
  6. Click on Save to submit. 

Enhance traceability by grouping fields based on your Supplier Type:

  • Picker: Group by Field to track specific harvest locations.
  • Farm: Group by Community to identify regional origins.
 


Editing Batches via the Batch details page

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Origin on the main menu bar and select Batches. You will be directed to the Batches overview page. 
  3. Click on the respective ID tag of the Batch you wish to edit. You will be directed to the Batch details page. 

 

Overruling the Yield factor 

Some fields have restrictions and cannot always be updated:

  • Supplier Type: Can only be changed if no suppliers are currently listed.
  • Received State: Can only be modified if a process has not yet been selected.
 

 

Use the Yield factor to estimate your output. If your Physical Analysis results differ, you can override this value for better accuracy.

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Origin on the main menu bar and select Batches. You will be directed to the Batches overview page. 
  3. Click on theEdit icon on the right side. You will be directed to the Batch details page. 
  4. Add Factor 1, Factor 2 by clicking on the Customize button on the top right side of the page. 
  5. Navigate to the Processing information. 
  6. Click on the Yield factor located next to the Process.
  7. Enter new values under Input amount and Output amount.
  8. Click Apply new factor.
  9. Click Update batch to submit.
