Cannot save roasts in Roasting Intelligence

Issue Environment Solution

Issue

When saving a roast in Roasting Intelligence, an error pops up:

Critical Error: Sorry, could not save roasting data. You may not have write access to the data directory. Please check. The roasting data has been copied to the system clipboard! Save it to a file to preserve it.
 

Environment

Roasting Intelligence 5.11 or lower

Solution

  1. (optional) Open a text editor like Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (macOS) and paste (Ctrl + V or Cmd + V) the contents of the clipboard, then save the file. This will preserve your roast data.
  2. Download and install the latest version of Roasting Intelligence that contains the fix to the issue.
  3. (optional) Reach out to Cropster Support for assistance with saving your roast data. You can also reach out if installing the latest version of Roasting Intelligence does not resolve the issue.
