Using the Roast Traceability Report

The Roast Traceability Report is only available for Commerce.
Overview
This article explains how to use the Roast Traceability Report.
With the Roast Traceability Report, you can:
- Trace your roasts (PR) and any post-roast blends (PB) included in your Orders.
- Meet the necessary legal requirements to demonstrate traceability.
- Easily initiate a product recall if needed.
Accessing the Roast Traceability Report
There are two ways to access the Roast Traceability Report via the online platform C-sar:
- Via Reports
- Via the Roasts/Post-roast blend details page
Via Reports
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to the Reports > Roast Traceability Report on the main menu bar.

For quick access, enter the name or number into the Lot name field. Use the dropdown menu to select a lot or blend from a list arranged from most recent to oldest. A 'Consumed' prefix indicates used items.

Via the Roast/Post-roast blend details page
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Roasts on the main menu bar.
- Click on the respective PR (on the Roast tab) or PB-tag (on the Post-roast blend tab).

Look for the See Traceability Report link on the top right side.

Viewing the Roast Traceability Report
Upon choosing the roast (PR) or Post-roast blend (PB), you will see the data along with the weight in the following options:
- Roast weight or Blend weight

Inventory weight

Roast/Blend weight and Inventory weight align with the data on the respective details page, displayed in the tabs below:
- Transaction History tab
- Completed Orders tab
Viewing the Transaction History tab
The Transaction History tab displays the following information:
- Date: The date of the transaction.
- Weight before
- Adjustment
- Weight after

Event type:
- Roasting (Start weight)
- Processing (Weight loss)
- Manual adjustment: This applies when making adjustments using the
Adjust weight feature on the Loose Inventory overview page. - Packaging: This applies only if Packaging Plans have been executed.
- Blending: This applies only to Post-roast Blends.
- Relation
- Note: Only adjustments made manually will be displayed.

Tips and Recommendations:
Adjustments made via the Roast Edit or Blend Edit page will automatically update the existing transaction. Note that the Transaction History Dates will always reflect the original roasting date, as this feature corrects weights related to the initial roast process. To log a separate event, use the Adjust weight action.
Completed Orders
The Completed Orders tab displays the following information:
- ID-tag (OR)

External Reference: Order ID from the external shops (e.g., Shopify)
We recommend using the External Reference in your external shop to easily contact customers in case a product needs to be recalled. - Order Fulfillment (OF)
- Order date:

Shops:
- Cropster: Manually added via the online platform C-sar.
- Shopify: External shop
- WooCommerce: External shop
- ShipStation: External shop
- Items ordered: All items included in the specific order.

FAQs
Can I export the Roast Traceability Report?
The option to export is currently not available, but is being considered for future implementation. If the option to export the Roast Traceability Report is important to you, please do not hesitate to contact us. What is the display order of the data within each tab?
The data on both tabs (Transaction History tab and Completed Orders tab) is arranged in chronological order from the newest to the oldest entries.
