Overview

The Green Inventory Report provides in-depth data on green inventory changes to assist with accounting, taxes, and cost management. This article explains how to generate specific report types, filter by location or date, and export the data to Excel.

Instructions

Accessing the Green Inventory Report

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Reports > Green Inventory Report.

Generating a Snapshot report

The Snapshot Report shows your green inventory on a specific day or for a specific location. It is available for all account tiers.

  1. Select the Snapshot tab.
  2. Choose your preferred Date and Locations.
  3. Select the State (Raw green, Parchment, or Dry cherry).
  4. Click Apply filters.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to select a viewpoint: By lot, By location, or By name.

Generating a Timeframe Report

The Timeframe Report allows you to view inventory changes over a specific period (day, week, month, or custom).
This feature is available for Professional tiers and higher. If you would like to upgrade, contact our Customer Success Team via hello@cropster.com.

  1. Select the Timeframe tab.
  2. Select a Date range and Locations.
  3. Select the State (Raw green, Parchment, or Dry cherry).
  4. Click Apply filters.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to select a viewpoint: By lot, By location, or By name.

The "Start date weight" is based on the actual registration date of the lot. If the report start date is earlier than the registration date, the weight displays as "0."

Understanding the Green Inventory Report Viewpoints

You can view data from three different perspectives at the bottom of the report page:

  • By lot: Shows each lot in each location as a single line. If a lot is in multiple locations, it appears once for each location.
  • By location: Organizes data based on physical storage sites.
  • By name: Displays the sum weight for all lots sharing the same unique ID-tag across all locations.

In the By name view, the run-out estimation sums the totals for all lots with the same name across all locations.

For example, if one "Honduras" lot has a 2-week supply and another "Honduras" lot has a 4-week supply, the By name tab displays a 6-week total. This calculation excludes unroasted green inventory.

Exporting the Green Inventory Report

  1. Click the Export (Excel icon) button.
  2. Select the checkboxes for the fields (columns) you want to include in the report.
  3. Click Export to Excel.
