This article explains how to set up a label printer in Roasting Intelligence.

Instructions
⚠️ Before connecting to Cropster, ensure your printer is installed exactly according to the printer manufacturer’s guidelines. You must run a successful test print to verify that the hardware is correctly configured and functional. Failure to do so may result in connection errors within the Roasting Intelligence.
- Log in to Roasting Intelligence.

Preferences > Roasting > Customize roast labels. -
Scroll down to the bottom of the Instructions section and click Print preview.

If this is your first time setting up a label printer, a permission dialog will appear requesting access to your local network; please click Allow to ensure Roasting Intelligence can locate your device.

Select your Printer, and define the following label details:
- Width
- Height

Orientation
- Portrait
- Landscape
- Reverse
- (Optional) Select Switch to system print dialogue to access advanced printing options and more detailed configuration settings.
- Select Preview to verify your settings before finalizing.

Click Print to save.
Once set, Roasting Intelligence remembers your preferred layout, so you don't have to reconfigure it for every print.
