How to create stock using Packaging Plans and Execution

Overview
This article explains how to create stock using Packaging plans and Execution.
The Packaging plan, which organizes the transition of roasted coffee into finished product variants based on inventory needs and Minimum stock levels. Use this tool to generate clear instructions for production staff and automatically update the On-hand column on the Loose and Packaged inventory records.
Instructions
Manually creating stock for Product variants and Packaging Plans
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to the Roasted Inventory > Packaging plans.

Click +Add packaging plan.

Enter the following details:
* Indicates mandatory fields.- *Date: Select the date for the Packaging plan execution.
- *Product: Select the product to package.

(Review only) On-hand roasted: This indicates the total amount roasted within the last 90 days that is not yet packaged.

- In the Variants to be packaged section, review the Net requirements and To be packaged.
- Use the arrows to specify the To be packaged amount.
- (Optional) Click +Add variants to include more products or click X to remove them.
- Click Create packaging plan. The plan appears on the Packaging plans overview page with a unique PPL prefix.
Executing a Packaging plan
Use the execution feature to provide staff with preparation instructions and to update available inventory records.
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to the Roasted Inventory > Packaging plans.

Select the plan(s) you wish to process:

Specific plans: Check the boxes next to the plans and click Execute plan(s).

- By date range: Click Execute plan next to any entry, then select a Date range to load all corresponding plans.

Specific plans: Check the boxes next to the plans and click Execute plan(s).
- Scroll to the Package section.

Enter the number of packages created in the Packaged field, or click Add all as packaged to fill all values automatically.

- Click Submit.
