How to create stock using Packaging Plans and Execution

Overview
This article explains how to manually create stock for Product variants, Packaging Plans, and Packaging Execution.
Instructions
Manually creating stock for Product variants and Packaging Plans
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to the Roasted Inventory > Create Packaging Plans on the main menu bar.

Enter the following details:
* indicates mandatory fields- *Date: The date when the plan should be executed.

*Product: The product(s) you want to package. On-hand indicates the total amount roasted within the last 30 days that has not yet been packaged.

- In the Variants to be packaged section, you will see a list of Product variants along with their PAR level and Available stock.

Click the up or down arrows to specify the quantity of New stock for packaging.

- Press Save the packaging plan to submit. The Packaging plan will be added to the Packaging plans overview page, tagged with a unique ID with the prefix PPL.
Tips and Recommendations:
You can add more variants to the Packaging plan using the +Add variants button (1), or remove variants by clicking x (2).

Executing Packaging Plans
Packaging execution serves two purposes:
- The set of instructions informing staff on how much of each product variant they should prepare. How much coffee do they need to blend, grind, and package?
- Creating records for the stock packaged and added to the available inventory.
- Navigate to Roasted Inventory > Packaging Plans to access the Packaging Plans overview page.

To execute specific Packaging plans, check the boxes next to them, then press Execute plan(s).

To execute all Packaging plans within a specific time range, click Execute plan next to any plan.

Select the Date range on the following page; the system will then load all corresponding plans.

- Scroll down to the Package section. You can specify the number of packages created by typing the value into the Packaged field, or save time by clicking "Add all as packaged" to complete them all at once.

Press Submit.

- Your packaging plans will now be marked as Completed on the Packaging Plans overview page.
The packaged inventory is displayed in two places:
- Loose Inventory: Shows as On-Hand.
- Packaged Inventory: Shows as Available.
