This article will explain how to create Menus, oversee the already existing ones, and also how to update them.

Why use the Cafe Menu? 

The Cafe Menu allows you to design menus for various locations and offers a detailed overview of all beverages included in each menu.

This feature enables you to customize the selection based on your customer's unique preferences and tastes and helps maintain consistency across different locations. 

We will continue to provide updates and enhancements to improve your experience.

The Menu Overview page 

By following the steps below, you can easily navigate to the Menu Overview page: 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar. 
  2. Navigate to Cafe on the main menu bar. You will be directed to the Operations page. 
  3. Select Menu on the Inventory Insights tab.
  4. You will be directed to the Menu overview page.

 

Creating Menus

 

Before you add a new Menu, you need to make sure your espresso Recipes are updated with the correct number of shots. 

 

 

By following the steps below, you can easily create Menus: 

  1. Click on the green +Add new menu button. 
  2. Enter the following details:
    * indicates mandatory fields
  • Name*
  • Location*
  • Drink #1
  • Name*
  • Number of shots*
  • SKU* (Stock Keeping Unit)
  1. By selecting the +Add New Drink option, you can continue to add additional beverages to the Menu.
  2. Once you have entered all the necessary details, click the Save button to complete the process.
  3. You can start uploading your POS Data. 
     

Updating Menus 

Currently, there are three options available to update your Menus:

  1. Create a new Menu: If you need a fresh start, just click on +Add new menu and start building it from scratch. 
  2. Rename a Menu: Select the Rename option next to the relevant Menu to make the necessary adjustments directly.
  3. Duplicate: Select the Duplicate option next to the relevant Menu and make changes to the new copy of it. 

 

After making Menu changes, you can re-upload the corresponding POS data to ensure your Inventory Insights remain accurate. 

It is important to avoid changing your SKUs, as doing so can lead to inconsistencies in your inventory data.

 

 

FAQs

How to modify your espresso Recipes to reflect the accurate number of shots?
By following the steps below, you can modify your espresso Recipes. 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Telemetry Insights > Recipes. 
    You need to make sure that your espresso Recipes are updated with the correct number of shots. 
  3. Locate the Recipe you wish to check on the Recipes Overview page.
  4. Click Edit on the right side of the page. 
  5. Navigate to the *Number of shots field. Verify that the number is accurate.
  6. Click Update recipe. 

Congratulations! You are now ready to create your Cafe Menus.
