This article explains how to use Cafe Inventory Insights to track usage trends and manage stock. Use the precise data points to make informed decisions across all locations.
With Cafe Inventory Insights, you can:

Requirements
Before you begin reviewing your Cafe Inventory Insights, you will need to:
- Create a Menu.
- Upload at least one POS (Point of Sale) file.
⚠️ Without these steps, the system cannot accurately calculate your sales data or inventory levels.

Daily average

💡 Good To Know:
We use single shots as our base unit for calculations. If your team pulls a double shot for a single-shot beverage, the system accounts for the unused half as unsold inventory. This ensures your brewed vs. sold data stays precise.

This pie chart shows your Sold vs. Unsold shots across all locations at a glance.
Total shot consumption throughout the day
You can select between two views on this diagram:

Assessment overview
Each location's data will be presented separately, allowing for a detailed analysis tailored to individual site performance:
Activating the Show daily averages button allows you to conveniently access and display the daily average data.
- Shots brewed (daily average)
- Shots sold (daily average)
- Shots unsold (daily average)
Clicking on a specific location will take you to the Telemetry Insights page dedicated to that site, where you can view the data for the date range you selected earlier.
In this example, the selected date range for Cropster Brew Bar was 01/07/2024 - 01/12/2024:
Click Cropster Brew Bar in the Assessment Overview to view the Telemetry Insights for your selected location and date range.
