The components of the Cafe Inventory Insights overview page
In the upcoming sections, we will explore each data source in detail, guiding you through the types of data you are collecting and providing insights on how to analyze this information effectively.
- Daily average
- Total shot consumption of all selected locations
- Total shot consumption throughout the day
- Total shot consumption throughout the week
- Total shot consumption across locations
- Assessment Overview
Daily average
- Shots linked to recipes across all selected locations:
The daily average in kg | Number of hots | € - Shots sold across all selected locations:
The daily average in kg | Number of shots | € - Shots unsold across all selected locations
The daily average in kg | Number of shots | €
We use single shots as the baseline for calculating brewed versus sold coffee, as they represent the smallest unit of measurement. For example, while a cappuccino typically requires one shot of espresso, many cafes opt to brew double shots using double-spouted portafilters. In such instances, one shot is accounted for the drink, leaving the second shot as unsold inventory.
Total shot consumption of all selected locations
A pie chart will visually illustrate the total shots sold versus unsold across all selected locations, offering a comprehensive view of your inventory performance.
Monitoring the unsold shot ratio is crucial, as a high percentage may signal potential issues that require your attention. This feature allows you to identify challenges that could be impacting your inventory performance.
