Overview

This article explains how to identify the IP address on Loring roast machines.

Instructions

Loring roast machines usually have a default IP address assigned:

  • S15 Falcon, S35 Kestrel and S70 Peregrine: 192.168.1.199
  • S7 Nighthawk: 192.168.1.69

In some cases, the IP address might differ from the default.
By following the steps below, you can identify the Loring roast machine's IP address:

  1. Click on the Menu button (three lines) on the top left corner of your Loring touchscreen.
  2. Navigate to System → Configure touchscreens PLC IP Address.
⚠️ If a username and password are required, please let us know via support@cropster.com
  3. Select Settings > Stations to view the PLC IP settings.
  4. Enter the roasting machine's IP address into the Connector setup section within Roasting Intelligence.

💡 Good To Know:

If you encounter multiple error messages on the Loring interface, simply write down the PLC IP address and restart the roast machine. The roaster should resume normal operation once the restart is complete.
