Overview Adding members to the Supply Network FAQs

Overview 

This article explains how to manage your Supply Network and how to add members to it. The Supply Network consists of your contacts, who are the organizations or individuals that produce, process, and handle coffee. 

You can choose between the following Supply Network member types: 

  • Field
  • Farm
  • Association
  • Cooperative
  • Community
  • Wet mill
  • Dry mill
  • Exporter
  • Importer
  • Roaster
  • Other
  • Picker
  • Customer

You need to create at least one member with the type Wet Mill or Dry Mill before you can configure the Origin permissions.
When using Coffee registration, you must first create at least one contact with the type Community, Farm, Field, or Picker.

 


Adding members to the Supply Network

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to More on the main menu bar and select the Supply network.
  3. Click on + Add member. You will be directed to the Supply network member page.
  4. Enter the following information:
    * indicates mandatory fields
    • Member name*
    • Member number
    • Contact person's full name
    • Member type*
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Association
    • Notes
    • Address
  5. Click on Create member to submit.

 

FAQs

Can I edit the details of a member?
Click the Edit icon next to the Supply Network member, update their details, and click Update member to save.
 

Can I archive a member?
Click on Archive next to the details of the Supply Network member you wish to archive.

Can I view the archived Supply Network members?
Click on Customize on the Supply Network overview page and toggle the button next to Include archived members. 
Use the checkboxes to choose which member information and archived records to display on the Supply Network overview page.
