Adjusting the start weight

Via the pre-roast screen

By following the steps below, you can adjust the start weight via the pre-roast screen:

1. Log in to the Roasting Intelligence (RI).
2. Depending on the Profile you use, your start weight may already be pre-filled in the Roasting Intelligence (RI).
3. Navigate to the Start weight section on the top right side of the screen. 
4. Enter the actual start weight.
5. Press Enter to confirm. 
   

   

Based on the expected weight loss, the field to enter the end weight might already be pre-filled. 

There are two ways of adjusting the end weight:

1. Via the post-roast screen
2. Via the Production overview 

Via the post-roast screen

After your roast has been stopped, the end weight can be adjusted before saving the roast by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the left side of the screen to the Start Weight and End Weight section. 
   In case you missed revising the start weight at the beginning of your roast, this can also be done now.
2. Enter the correct values. 
3. Click on Save to submit.
   

   

Via the Production overview 

By following the steps below, you can adjust the end weight via the Production overview:

1. Click on the Production button in the lower left corner.
2. Click on the "..." (three dots) next to the roast you would like to edit. 
3. Select Edit roast.
4. Enter the End weight.
   

   

5. Click on Save to save changes. 

Congratulations! You are now ready to adjust the start and end weight via the Roasting Intelligence (RI).
