Using the Quality Compare Report
This article explains how to use the Quality Compare Report.

Why use the Quality Compare Report?
With the Quality module, which includes the Quality Compare Report, you can learn the most about your roasts.
The Quality Compare Report allows you to compare the final cupping scores from each evaluator on individual Quality Cupping (QC) and Quality Sessions (QS).
This report also assists in identifying the common descriptors shared among high-scoring roasts.
The Quality Compare Report overview page
By following the steps below, you can open the Quality Compare Report overview page:
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Reports on the main menu bar.

Select Quality Compare.

Select the QS(s) or QC(s) you wish you compare:

Compare a session: Select an individual QS-tag from the dropdown menu, or the Your last sessions section.

Compare sensorial analyses: Select one or more QC-tags from the dropdown menu and click the Compare selected analyses button when you are ready. To select multiple sessions, click the Select session from list button to select them directly from the Sensorial overview page.

Compare a session: Select an individual QS-tag from the dropdown menu, or the Your last sessions section.

Click the Select analyses from list button to select the sessions directly from the Cupping sessions overview page.
Comparing the results
By following the steps below, you can compare the quality information of two or more lots:
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Quality on the main menu bar.
- Select Sensorial.

Select the results you would like to compare by clicking on the respective checkboxes next to the QC number.

Click Compare.
Sensorial comparison table
From the customizable Sensorial comparison table, you can focus on the cupping results you want to see by using the following filters:
- Score filter: Allows you to filter by the set range based on the Final scores submitted.

Descriptors: Allows you to filter for cuppings in which the specified descriptors were used. If used alongside the second (in) field, this allows you to filter cuppings by the specified descriptors used for the specified categories.

Customize dropdown: Allows you to customize the columns visible on your Sensorial comparison table. Click the Customize dropdown menu and add or remove fields by clicking the corresponding checkboxes.
Building a Cupper Profile
By following the steps below, you can easily start building a Cupper Profile:
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Quality on the main menu bar.
- Select Sensorial.

Click the Customize dropdown and mark the Evaluators checkbox.
With the Quality Compare's Excel (.xls) export function, you can easily export more than 50 fields through a customizable export file for each of the QCs or QSs. This gives you the ability to create additional reports to allow you to interpret data in more flexible ways.
