This article explains how to connect your espresso machine to Cropster Cafe via the La Marzocco Pro app.

Please note:
On March 18, 2025, La Marzocco introduced an update that enhanced the functionality and connectivity of their machines.
No action is needed for already connected La Marzocco machines. To connect new machines, use the updated La Marzocco Pro app.
Instructions
The following instructions cover both the La Marzocco Pro app and Cropster Cafe (online platform C-sar).
Within the La Marzocco Pro app
Verify your machine is added to the La Marzocco Pro app, showing as 'Connected' or 'Connected Remotely' with all grouphead data visible:
- Click on the espresso machine you want to connect.
- Navigate to the Cropster Manage button. You will see the Cropster icon displayed here. If the icon is not active, it indicates that the machine is currently not connected.

Click on Connect to Cropster Cafe, or copy the provided Connection token.
Within the online platform C-sar
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Cafe on the main menu bar and select Assets.
- Add your new espresso machine to your Cropster account.
- Enter the Connection token you copied from the La Marzocco Pro app.

Click Continue. You will be directed to another page with further instructions.

- Fill in the required information, then click Add, and connect equipment.
- After a few minutes, the machine's status should change to "Active" in your Cropster account.
FAQs
What should I do if I don't get any brews on the Strada X ABR machines?
Check the settings of your machine to ensure that the "AV/ABR mode" is enabled in the La Marzocco Pro App.
When will the espresso machine status show as active?
It takes roughly two minutes for your machine to show as "Active", as the software waits for the first heartbeat message from your machine.
