Why use Stations? What do we recommend? The Assets overview page  Creating new Stations Using filters Editing Stations Deleting Stations

Why use Stations?

 Stations are optional.

Stations group equipment commonly used together for brewing, such as grinders, espresso machines, and scales.

Utilize Stations to:

  • Organize equipment that is frequently used together to brew.
  • Assign and update a Reference Brew per station for the same Recipe.
  • Set a Reference to a location, so Cropster will automatically create default stations for each of the locations you use.

Brew logging parameters from the Recipe card will display under each station if a Recipe is assigned to multiple stations.

What do we recommend?

Create a station for each brewing method (e.g., Espresso, Manual, Batch) and group the corresponding equipment.
For multiple espresso or filter brewing stations in one location, create separate stations for each brewing method.

Manual brews logged on a station with both manual equipment and an espresso machine will also appear on the espresso machine's detail page.
