      How to install WCH Driver (ch341)

      This guide explains how to download and install the WCH serial converter drivers for Windows and Mac. 

      Some roast machines have a pre-installed USB to serial converter chip communicating between the roast machine and your computer. These chips require drivers to be installed on your computer's operating system.

      Windows installation guide 

      1. Click here to go to the WCH download page for Windows.

      2. Click on the Download icon to start downloading.

      3. Locate the downloaded file.

      4. Run the installation by double-clicking on the downloaded driver.

      5. Allow the installation by clicking Yes.

      6. Click Install to begin the installation.

      7. Once the installation is complete, a pop-up window will appear.
      8. Click OK to close the window. 
      Mac installation guide  
      1. Click here to go to the WCH driver download page for Mac.
      2. Click on the Download icon to start downloading.
      3. Locate the downloaded file.
      4. Double-click on the CH34xVCPDriver.pkg file to open the installation dialog. 
      5.  Select Continue. 

      6. Select Install to begin the installation.

      7. A Password may be required to install software on a Mac.
        Use Touch ID or enter your password to allow the installation to continue.

      8. Once you see the successful installation message installation is complete. Click Close to finish the installation. 

        Congratulations! You are now ready to install WCH Driver (ch341).
