This article explains how to install the Phidget Control Panel Standalone on macOS 10.15+.

Instructions

If you have the Phidget Control Panel installed but still have no temperature readings, you may need to install the Phidget Control Panel Standalone. This is only an option if you have macOS 10.15+. It uses a driver extension instead of a kernel extension.

1. Download the Standalone Phidget Driver.
2. Open the .dmg file and then drag the Phidget Control Panel Standalone app icon to the Applications folder
   

   

3. Open the Applications folder and double-click the Phidget Control Panel Standalone icon. Select Open in the window that appears.
4. The Phidget Control Panel app will open, and your Phidget device should be listed.
