Why use the Roast Traceability Report?
With the Roast Traceability Report, you can:
- Trace your roasts (PR) and any post-roast blends (PB) included in your Orders.
- Meet the necessary legal requirements to demonstrate traceability.
- Easily initiate a product recall if needed.
Navigating to the Roast Traceability Report
There are two ways to navigate to the Roast Traceability Report via the online platform C-sar:
Via Reports
By following these steps you can navigate to the Roast Traceability Report via the Reports menu bar:
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to the Reports on the main menu bar.
- Select the Roast Traceability Report.
- You can easily input the name or number into the specified field under Lot name for quick access.
💡 You also have the option to select a specific lot by clicking on the dropdown menu. This will show you a list of lots arranged from the most recent to the oldest. If a roast or blend has been used, a 'Consumed' prefix will be displayed.
Via the Roast/Post-roast blend details page
By following these steps you can navigate to the Roast Traceability Report via the Roast/Post-roast blend details page:
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Roasts on the main menu bar.
- Click on the respective PR (roast) or PB-tag (Post-roast blend).
- You can see the See Traceability Report link on the top right side of the page.
The Roast Traceability Report overview
Upon choosing the roast (PR) or Post-roast blend (PB), you will see the data along with the weight in the following options:

- Roast weight or Blend weight
- Inventory weight
The values for Roast weight or Blend weight and Inventory weight align with the data shown on the Roast or Blend details page.
You can find the necessary information displayed on the tabs below:
Transaction History
The following information is displayed on the Transaction History tab:
- Date : The date of transaction.
- Weight before
- Adjustment
- Weight after
- Event type:
- Roasting (Start weight)
- Processing (Weight loss)
- Manual adjustment: This applies when making adjustments using the Adjust weight feature on the Loose Inventory overview page.
- Packaging: This applies only if Packaging Plans have been executed.
- Blending: This applies only for Post-roast Blends.
- Relation
- Note: Only adjustments made manually will be displayed.
If any adjustments are made to the weight either through the Roast Edit or Blend Edit page, the existing transaction will be automatically updated to reflect the changes.
This feature specifically corrects weights related to the roasting process. As a result, the Transaction History Dates reflect the date when the lot was roasted.
If you need to add another transaction, simply utilize the Adjust weight action.
Completed Orders
The following information is displayed on the Completed Orders tab:
- ID-tag (OR)
- External Reference: Order ID from the external shops (e.g. Shopify)
💡 We recommend using the External Reference in your external shop to easily contact customers in case a product needs to be recalled. - Order fulfillment (OF)
- Order date:
- Shops:
- Cropster: Manually added via the online platform C-sar.

- Items ordered: All items included in the specific order.
FAQs
Can I export the Roast Traceability Report?
The option to export is currently not available but being considered for future implementation.

In what order is the data displayed on each tab?
The data on both tabs (Transaction History tab and Completed Orders tab) is arranged in chronological order from the newest to the oldest entries.
