What is a Profile group? 

A Profile group is a collection of multiple Profiles that together produce the same product or component, ensuring flexibility and consistency in the production process

Profile groups are essential in specific scenarios, including:

  • Setting up and scheduling Post-roast blends (Roast and Commerce - All tiers)
  • Converting Orders into Roast schedules (Commerce only)
 

Creating a Profile group

By following the steps below, you can easily create a Profile Group:

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar. 
  2. Navigate to the Roasts on the main menu bar and select Profile groups by clicking on the dropdown. You will be directed to the Profile groups overview page.
  3. The following details are displayed:
    • Name
    • Associated profiles
    • Notes 
  4. Click on +Add new profile group.
  5. Enter the following information: 
    * indicates mandatory fields
    • *Group Name: Name your Profile group.
    • Group notes: Add additional information to the new Profile group.
    • Associated profiles: Associate all the profiles used to make the same product.
  6. Click on Create profile group.

 

The first selected Profile will be set as the default.

 

 

Profile groups on the Production Report


The Production Report allows you to review past production and plan for future periods.

By tracking your Profile groups, you can accurately assess production quantities and optimize your future green coffee purchases.

By following the steps below, you can access the Production Report's data:

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar. 
  2. Navigate to Reports on the main menu bar. 
  3. Select Production Report by clicking on the dropdown. 
  4. Scroll down on the Production Report overview page and select the By profile group tab.
    Click the Start tour button in the top right corner to navigate the features and functionalities of the Production Report.
  5. Enter the Date range you would like to take a look at. 
    Click on the start date or end date fields to prompt a calendar to choose among predefined date ranges or enter a custom date.
  6. Select the unit of time you would like to see the Average for, e.g., per week, by clicking on the dropdown.
  7. Select the Locations by clicking on the dropdown. 
  8. Click Apply filters to generate the report.

Congratulations! You are now ready to create and manage Profile groups.
