Managing Profile groups

In this article you will learn about Profile groups, and how to manage them.

Profile groups

“Roasted components” are now called Profile groups.

Many roasters produce a common component that is used across multiple end products. A roaster may use different profiles depending on the number of available roast machines, and batch sizes to get to the same component.

The same component of a final product can be produced with different roasting profiles. A Profile group is a set of different profiles that all create the same product component (e.g. House Blend).
