      Managing currency and adding value to the Green Inventory

      This article explains how to select and change the currency and also to add value to the (Green) Inventory.


      Selecting currency

      You need to select a currency to enter lot prices.


      By following the steps below you can select a currency: 

      1. Log into the online platform C-sar.
      2. In case you haven't selected your currency yet, a message will appear on your dashboard.
      3. Set the currency by clicking on the dropdown.

      Adding value to the Green Inventory

      By following the steps below you can add value to the (Green) Inventory:

      1. Log into the online platform C-sar and navigate to the Inventory on the main menu bar. 

      2. Select the PG (Production Green) number of the lot you would like to add value to.

      3.  Click  Edit on the toolbar.

      4. Click on the dropdown next to the Customize fields button.
      5. Select Price and click on Save.

      6. Add the value. 
      7. When adding price you need to select the measurement unit you set the value for.
        💡 The default unit is kg, but you can change it by clicking on the dropdown. Screenshot 2023-07-05 at 11.42.15

      6. You can finalize the change by clicking on Update lot. 

      💡 If the selected lot has related lots (e.g. lots in other warehouses, or lots in the same sample group) updating this lot will not update the related lots accordingly - you need to update them manually. 

      You will find the selected lots listed with the same text at the bottom of the page. 

      Changing currency 

      It is possible that within time you would like to edit your account preferences, including your currency.

      The currency change will update the currency, but not the values for all prices. Before you finalize the update, a warning message will appear with the same text. 


      By following the steps below you can change the currency:

      1. Log into the online platform C-Sar.

      2. Navigate to the Account Overview page on the menu bar and click on the  Gear icon.

      3. Under the Currency section, you can find the option Change Currency. Screenshot 2023-06-22 at 13.02.53-1
      4. Select the new currency from the list with the dropdown.
      5. Click Update currency to save the change. 
      6. The following message will pop up:

      7. If you would still like to proceed, select OK.
      8. After clicking on OK, the new currency will be set on your account within seconds. 
        💡 A message will pop up on the top right side of the screen to confirm the change.
