This article explains the handling of consumed lots and also how to mark your lots consumed and unconsumed.
Why mark the lots consumed?
When you have used your entire stock of a lot of green coffee, and the actual weight is 0 kg/lbs, it will automatically be marked as consumed.
This feature allows you to mark your lots as consumed, even if their actual weight is not 0 kg/lbs. For instance, if a lot is damaged due to issues like mold or water, rendering it unsuitable for roasting, you can easily mark it as consumed.
In this case, you will still be able to view your lots in their current state and history.

When you are marking a lot consumed, you keep all the history of that particular lot so you can filter and report on it. You can also add the consumed lots back to your active inventory at any time.
Deleting a lot means all the history is gone, and you can not filter or report on it anymore. Furthermore, deletion is irrecoverable.
