We have seen a few of these roast curves where the temperature cuts out while roasting and then goes back to reading as though nothing happened.
This results in a strange peak and valley in the RoR (Rate of Rise):
This can happen for a few reasons:
- Your computer has gone to sleep during a roast (most common)
- Your data bridge is too hot
- Your USB is removed from the roaster
- Your computer is overheating
💡 If your computer is going to sleep during a roast you can change the display time out time to something longer than your roast time.
