Using the Harvest Report

This article explains how to use the Harvest Report.

    The Harvest Report is available for the following products:
    • Origin

    Why use the Harvest Report?

    The Harvest Report provides transparency and also more detailed insight into the coffee you are planning to purchase, e.g. the provenance, volumes, processing dates, and other relevant details about the coffee produced during the season.

    The Harvest Report overview page 

    By following the steps below you can open the Harvest Report overview page:

    1. Log into the online platform C-sar
    2. Navigate to Origin on the main menu bar and select Batches
    3. You will be directed to the Batches overview page.  
    4. Click on See harvest report on the top right side of the page.

    💡 You can also find the Harvest Report by clicking on Reports on the main menu bar.

    Using the filters

    With using the following quick-filter options, you can easily refine your Harvest Report:  

    Use the toggle button and add Advanced filters:

    • Mill (default)
    • Crop year (default)
    • Process 
    • Project 
    • Variety
    • Supplier type
    • Community
    • Farm

    By clicking on Apply filters you can apply the selected filters. 
    💡 All filters are multi-select.

    The 'Supplier Type' filter controls which of the other filters are visible. 
    If you select...

    • Community - only the Community filter is visible
    • Farm - the Community and Farm filters are visible
    • Field - the Community, Farm and Field filters are visible
    • Picker - the Community, Farm, Field and Picker filters are visible

    You should always choose the 'Supplier Type' that matches the one you use receive coffee from when registering batches. You can then also use filter for higher levels of traceability.

    Example: If you receive coffee from Farms, selecting 'Farm' as the 'Supplier Type' allows you to filter both the Farms themselves, and also the Communities those farms belong to.


    The summary values show you the total weight by type for each crop year.

    Weight types include:

    • Received weight
    • Estimated stored weight
    • Stored weight
    • Estimated green weight

    Line Charts

    Use the Show breakdown for dropdown menu to select which type of weight you wish to see from the following options:
      • Received weight
      • Estimated stored weight
      • Stored weight
      • Estimated green weight

    Each point represents the summarized weight for that week based on the date the coffee was received. A tooltip displaying the summarized weights by crop year appears when you hover the mouse over a particular week.

    For crop years that straddle 2 calendar years (ie. 2021/2022) the chart centers itself on Jan 1. For crop years that fall within 1 calendar year (ie. 2022), the chart centers itself on July 1.

     Bar charts

    There are two bar charts which summarize the following information on the bottom of the page:

    1. Received / Estimated Stored weight/ Stored weight / Estimated green weight by process
    2. Received / Estimated Stored weight/ Stored weight / Estimated green weight by project
