Using the Brews table

This article explains how to use the Brews table in Cropster Cafe.


What is the Brews table feature?


The Brew tables are the central repository of all brews per brewing method that have been logged both automatically and manually in Cropster Cafe

By following the steps below you can navigate to the Brews table:
  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
  2. Navigate to Cafe on the main menu bar.
  3. Select Brews
  4. You will be directed to the Brews table

Filtering Brews


Brews can be filtered by the following details: 

  • Log date: allows to filter for brews on a certain date
  • Location: allows to filter for brews on a certain location
  • Espresso machine
  • Grouphead: allows to filter for brews on a certain grouphead (espresso only)
    💡 To view only the brews that do not have an assigned recipe, simply toggle the button labeled "Show brews with no recipe only."
  • Recipe: allows to filter for brews per recipe, and can also choose to show Brews not linked to any recipe alone.
  • Range:
    • All
    • Within range
    • Outside range
  • Brew type: allows to filter brews per brew type (espresso, manual brew, batch brew)
  • Roast: allows to filter brews per linked roast
    💡Only available for Roast Foundation+ account.

Bulk and single actions


By selecting multiple brews on the Brews tables, you can edit the following properties of a brew in bulk:

  • Assign to a recipe by clicking on Assign recipe.
  • Delete brews by clicking on the DeleteIcon@2x (1) Delete icon

Exporting Brews


In order to allow for the ability to the share brew information with different stakeholders, internally or externally, it is possible to export all brews across all brewing methods within a certain time frame up to one year to a downloadable CSV file.

By following the steps below you can export the Brews

  1. Complete the steps 1-4 written above
  2. Select the Brews you would like to export by clicking on the respective checkboxes.
  3. Click on the Export button on the top right side of the page. 
  4. The entire Brews table, including all fields and brewing methods will be exported to a .csv file. You can select up to one year of collected brews.

  5. Click on Export as .csv file

Congratulations! You are now ready to use the Brews table.
