      RI installation - Troubleshooting "Windows protected your PC"

      This article will clarify the reason behind this security warning and guide you on how to resolve it.

       

      The issue


      Once you have installed Roasting Intelligence (RI) from our Download page, you may encounter a pop-up displaying the message: "Windows protected your PC."

      This security measure occurs on Windows 10 and beyond. Despite the message, the installer is safe. 


      The solution

      You simply need to click More info > Run anyway.

      Congratulations! You are now ready to continue with the RI's installation when the security message "Windows protected your PC" is displayed.
