The following article should help to identify your Mill City version.
There are five different connection options for Mill City Roasters.
Version 1- Phidgets only
- Roast machines with capacity from 500g to 20kg, manufactured between 2013 and 2018
- Roast machines with capacity from 500g to 3kg, manufactured from 2019
Version 2a - Phidgets/Shihlin controls
- Manufactured between 2017 and 2018
- Machines come with Phidget and Shihlin controls
- USB port on the back
Version 2b - Phidgets/Delta controls
- Manufactured between 2017 and 2018
- Machines come with Phidget and Delta controls
- USB port on the back
Version 3 - Phidget/Delta controls (with data port)
- Roast machines with capacity from 6kg to 15kg, manufactured between 2013 and 2018
- Machines come with Phidget and and serial port at the right side of the control box
Version 4 - MCR Series (with data port)/ Digital control panel
MCR series control panel image, as of 2019.
- Roast machines with capacity from 6kg to 60kg, manufactured as of 2019.
- Data port left to the controls.
- DTech DT-5019 serial port converter that comes with roast machine.
