Overview

This article explains how to use the Lot sharing feature to easily distribute selected inventory information.
Lot sharing is available for both Green Inventory (PG lots) and Samples (SG lots). The following steps are illustrated using the Green Inventory module, but are identical for the Samples module.

Instructions

You must generate a link to share green lot information with external parties.

1. Log in to the online platform C-sar.
2. Navigate to the (Green) Inventory. Click the specific PG-tag of the lot you intend to share.
3. In the top right corner, select the link icon.
   

   

4. Select the desired information from the listed categories, and then confirm by clicking Share.
   

   

5. Once the link is generated, you can copy it to your clipboard by either clicking the link or selecting the Copy button.
   

   

 FAQs

Is it possible to modify the information included in the share?
Editing the inventory data will instantly update the content of the existing shared link. To select different information categories to share, you must generate a new link:

1. Navigate to the (Green) Inventory overview page and select the PG you want to change.
2. Select the link icon in the top right corner.
3. Select or deselect information by clicking on the respective checkboxes, and click Share. 
   

   

4. A sharing link will be generated. To copy it to your clipboard, click the Copy button or click directly on the link.

Is it possible to unshare a link?
By following the steps below, you can unshare a link: 

1. Navigate to the (Green) Inventory overview page and choose the PG lot whose data you need to unshare.
2. Click the Unshare button.
   

   

   
   

   Unsharing the lot immediately disables the link, preventing any further access by external users.
