How to find the IP-address (Giesen)

By following the steps below, you can find the IP address of your Giesen roast machine:

  1. Start the Giesen roaster.
  2. Monitor the touchscreen until the following window appears and click on Control Panel. If no action has been taken, the window disappears.
  3. After the control panel has opened, click on Profinet.
  4. The Profinet settings open and your roaster's IP address appear.

Deduct 1 from the last block of the IP address shown on the display to get the IP address of the PLC that is relevant to the Cropster connection.

If the Giesen display shows you 192.168.2.181, use 192.168.2.180within the RI settings. 

 

Congratulations! You are now ready to find the IP address of your Giesen roast machine.
