      How to find the IP-address (Giesen)

      This article explains how to find the IP address of your Giesen roaster.

      1. Start the Giesen roaster.
      2. Monitor the touchscreen until the following window appears and click on Control Panel. If no action has been taken, the window disappears.
      3. After the control panel has opened, click on Profinet.
      4. The Profinet settings open and your roaster's IP-address appear

      Deduct 1 from the last block of the IP address shown on the display to get the IP address of the PLC that is relevant for the Cropster connection.

      If the Giesen display shows you 192.168.2.181, use 192.168.2.180 within the RI settings.
