Possible causes for disconnection
Various reasons may lead you to disconnect your espresso machine from BrewBeacon, such as:
- The espresso machine has undergone considerable wear and tear over the years, prompting you to consider replacing it while still retaining the BrewBeacon.
- You have purchased a new espresso machine and need to disconnect your BrewBeacon from the old machine to continue using it with your new equipment.
- You may have accidentally spilled water on your BrewBeacon, which is affecting its functionality, and you need a replacement.
Disconnecting your espresso machine from BrewBeacon
By following the steps below, you can easily disconnect your espresso machine from BrewBeacon:
- Log in to the online platform C-sar.
- Navigate to Cafe on the main menu bar and select Equipment.
- Locate the espresso machine you wish to disconnect from BrewBeacon. Click on its Model.
- Scroll down to Change recipe linking.
- Click the Disconnect button in the top right corner of the page.
- A warning message will pop up on the screen. Click OK.
- The espresso machine will be disconnected.
Disconnecting the espresso machine will prevent Cropster from automatically logging its brews, and you will no longer have access to the machine's IoT features until you connect it again. All brews saved in the cache will be lost.
If you disconnect the espresso machine while it is offline, you will have to perform a manual factory reset of your BrewBeacon to reconnect it.
