How to add/remove a machine

Note: A machine addition/deletion request may take up to 24 hours (Mon-Fri) to process. 

Adding a roast machine

To add a new machine to your account, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar
  2. Click on the Gear-symbol > Machines in the upper right corner.
  3. Click Request an additional machine
  4. Enter your machine's details:
    • Machine type: Choose your machine from the drop-down
    • Manufacturing year: This helps us figuring out how to connect your roaster with Cropster.
    • Capacity: The maximum capacity of the roast machine.
    • Usage: When a machine is marked as a sample roaster, you will only be able to roast samples (SG-numbers).
    • Location: When you are operating in different locations, assign your roaster to a specific location. When a machine is assigned to a location, you will only be able to roast green lots that are assigned to the same location.
    • Replacement for: If you want to replace a current machine with a new one, choose the machine you want to replace to avoid additional costs. 
    • Additional information: Add a personal message (optional).
  5. Click Send to submit your request.

Note: Once we have received the machine request, we will add the machine to your account and provide you with information regarding the setup.

Removing a roast machine

To remove a machine from your account, follow the steps below: 

  1. Log in to the online platform C-sar
  2. Click on the Gear-symbol > Machines in the upper right corner.
  3. Click the Trashcan icon next to the machine you want to remove.
  4. Confirm your request in the prompt, and support will remove the machine from your account and invoices. 

Note: Don't worry, deleting the machine won't delete or alter the data related to this machine.
