How to place an order for a customer (shop admin only)

In this manual you will learn how to place an order for your customers via browser, and mobile.

Placing an order

Note: To learn how your customers can reorder products from previously placed orders via their wholesale account, visit the following article: How to reorder products from an earlier order via "My account" (buyer's perspective)

You can easily place an order on behalf of your customers, by following the instructions outlined below:

  1. From your Dashboard, go to the Users section.
  2. Find the user in question, hover over the user, then click the Switch to button

    Note: You will be directed to the My account section for this customer.

Hint: To continue with the process to place an order for your customer, scroll down to the My account section.

Via your mobile device

(Recommended) Adding a Bookmark icon to your mobile's Home page

In order to have easy access to your web store's Users overview, we recommend you follow the following steps, in order to add a Bookmark via an app-like icon to your mobile device's Home page. This will grant you easy access to manage your users.

Please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. When you open your shop on your mobile device,  please log in.
  2. Click on the Navigation icon (> Users > All Users.

On iPhone

  1. Click on the Square and arrow icon (> Add to Home screen.
    Note: By selecting "Add to Home screen", you add a bookmark icon for the URL in question, from your Home page.
  2. (optional) Rename the icon on your Home screen.
  3. Click the Done button.

Note: the workflow described above corresponds to the Safari browser.

On Android

  1. Click on the three-dotted icon (> Add to Home screen.
    Note: By selecting "Add to Home screen", you add a bookmark icon for the URL in question, from your Home page.
  2. (optional) Rename the icon on your Home screen.
  3. Click the Add button.

  1. From your Dashboard, go to the Users section.
  2. Find the user in question, hover over the user, then click the Switch to button.
    Note: You will get directly into the My account section for this customer

From the customer's My account section, you can either:

Once you have reviewed the Cart, and finished the Checkout process, you may switch back to your admin account by scrolling to the bottom of the page, then click the Switch back to <name> (<shop name>) button.

Congratulations! You are ready to place orders as your customers!
